Students and graduates scientific research works’ competition has started

Traditionally within the XXIV International Specialized Exhibition "Safety and Labor Protection-2020" ("BIOT-2020") the competition of young scientists’ research works are to be held as part of the youth program. The exhibition will be held in December 8 - 11 in Moscow Russia, Moscow, VDNH Exhibition Center, Hall 75.

The competition is aimed at identifying the creative and intellectual potential of students, stimulating their research activities in the field of labor protection and industrial safety, and involving young scientists into the development of specific proposals for training and enhancing the competencies of young specialists. The organizer of the event is ASIZ.

The competition will last from May 12 to December 11, 2020 in 3 stages:

1.    May,12 – October, 9 – Acceptance of applications, abstracts and scientific works;

2.    November, 9 – December, 1 – Examination of works, finalists’ determination, sending invitations to finalists by e-mail;

3.    December, 11 – the final of the competition and announcement of the winners.

Students of all forms of study and graduate students up to 30 years old can are able to participate in the competition. Applications are accepted in the following nominations:

-       improvement of working conditions at the enterprise and professional risk management;

-       methods of reducing injuries in the workplace;

-       PPE development and improvement for use in industries and in normal life as well;

-       Prevention and response to emergencies, both technogenic and natural, including pandemics.

Evaluation of the works and the results of the competition is carried out by the Competition Committee, which includes teachers’ training scientists and academics of universities and representatives of enterprises participating in BIOT-2020.

The winners in each nomination are awarded with diplomas of I, II, III degree and valuable prizes. The best works will be published in the print-digest and in scientific electronic library eLIBRARY.RU
