visota.jpgThe 25th Anniversary International Exhibition and Forum “Safety and Labour Protection” (BIOT-2021) will be held 7-10 December 2021 at the Central Exhibition Complex "Expocentre" in Moscow.

The BIOT exhibition is one of the largest and most authoritative industry platforms where you can learn about the latest changes in legislation and regulation, exchange views on the labour market environment, sign profitable contracts with consumers, suppliers and distributors of personal protective equipment, and promote your products and services on the international market. BIOT is a meeting place for manufacturers and suppliers with companies from the transport, construction, oil and gas, food and mining sectors - all industries that use personal protective equipment and where occupational health is a priority.

BIOT-2021 will traditionally have thematic Alleys and Salons at the core of its exposition. One of them, the “Alley of height and operation in confined spaces”, will feature exhibitors presenting their latest developments, demonstrating working solutions and examples of the state-of-the-art PPE applications when working at height and in restricted or confined spaces.

This year's Alley of height and operation in confined spaces partner became the POLATI Professional Training Centre. The POLATI training centre is the new standard in construction and occupational health training. Specialists from the training centre will erect a scaffolding training area in the Alley to demonstrate professional skills in safe working techniques and methods at height, rescue, evacuation and first aid, as well as conduct a demonstration of PPE in real-life conditions.
Professionals from the POLATI training centre will demonstrate modern approaches to job training: the use of virtual reality in the training of high-rise erectors, BabyScaff scaffolding models and CPS technology bracelets. Such bracelets offer a number of advantages: physical condition monitoring, alerting when entering a hazardous area, PPE control and a panic button.

In 2019, when the exhibition was held offline, 12 companies participated in the Alley. They presented their products, held training sessions, workshops and thematic seminars. The programme for this Alley was one of the most balanced at the exhibition. The Alley hosted a stand by the Russian Ministry of Labour with a gymnastics show, lectures on scientific advances in occupational safety and health, legal regulations and the specifics of accident investigation. At each of the stands, participants could try on personal protective equipment, take part in demonstrations, see a shock absorber breakdown with their own eyes, become 'injured', 'evacuated', 'rescued' and even 'recovered'.

Commenting on the Alley's performance in 2019 and plans for 2021, Vladimir I. Kotov, President of the Association "SIZ" and member of the Exhibition Organising Committee, said: "The new format of the Alley, which we first tried out in 2019, has fully justified itself. Both exhibitors and visitors enjoyed it. The former were able to present their developments to more than twenty thousand PPE and occupational health and safety specialists and professionals from 45 countries, while the latter could examine and try on products from leading brands and compare them with each other. Seminars, discussions and demonstrations took place right on the exhibition stands of the Alley. In 2021, the year of the BIOT anniversary, the Organizing Committee will try to make the programme of the Alley even richer, more dynamic and interesting".

There will be even more exciting activities at the "Alley of height and operation in confined spaces" at BIOT-2021! We invite companies specialising in the manufacture and supply of personal protective equipment for working at height and in confined and restricted spaces to take part and showcase their products. Book your stand, colleagues!
